Growing a City's Audience Through Story
Content Producer / Director
Scope of Work
I work across strategy and production at Move to Tacoma — identifying the stories worth telling and building them into finished pieces: video web series, short-form social, photography, and editorial features. Each piece is shaped to serve both editorial goals and partner campaigns, from pitch to final asset.
The Challenge
Move to Tacoma is a media brand built around one question: what is it actually like to live here? Growing that audience takes a steady stream of content that captures the real people, places, and culture of the city, not generic city marketing. The challenge is to consistently find the stories worth telling and turn them into produced video and editorial that earns attention and builds a loyal local following.
My Approach
I work as both a content strategist and a producer. I spot the marketing opportunities, the stories and angles that will resonate, and turn them into finished pieces: video web series, short-form social content, photography, and editorial features. I own the work from pitch to final asset, concepting, shooting, and editing, and shape each piece to serve both editorial goals and partner campaigns. The throughline is story, real people and real places, told in a way that grows the audience.
